Block Therapy is a practice that uses specially designed wooden blocks to release fascia—your body’s connective tissue. As you melt into each position, tension unwinds, space is restored, and your body begins to realign from the inside out. It is done in the comfort of your home or with a certified professional. (me!)
I’ve always believed that youth is more than just smooth skin—it’s something we feel in someone.
It’s in the way they carry themselves, how they move, how freely they breathe. There’s a natural grace and openness—almost like a dancer—fluid, upright, and present.
But over time, life settles into our tissues. Stress, injuries, shallow breathing, and habits we don’t even notice begin to pull us out of alignment. The fascia—that connective web that holds everything together—starts to grip, twist, and compress. This doesn’t just cause pain and tension; it subtly changes how we look.
Wrinkles deepen. Features begin to droop. Puffiness and a sense of heaviness set in—not just from aging, but from pressure, compression, and dehydration in the deeper fascial layers.
Of course, there are quick fixes like Botox and fillers. But they only work on the surface, and they do nothing to address the underlying structure. In fact, I’ve seen how repeated use can sometimes lead to stagnation and facial imbalance over time.
That’s why I’m so passionate about fascia-focused work. When we create space, restore flow, and bring the body back into alignment, the face responds—lifting naturally, regaining tone, and glowing with vitality.
Block Therapy truly changes the game. It’s the reason I’ve taken the time to study it, get certified, and share it with my clients. Because when you understand how the body really works—you can start aging in reverse, from the inside out.
Block Therapy offers a deeply restorative approach to beauty and healing by working with the fascial system—the root of both physical pain and visible aging.
Through gentle decompression and conscious breathwork, Block Therapy:
You begin to move with more ease, breathe more fully, and glow more naturally—because the changes are happening from within.
This is not a quick fix—it’s a practice. One that reconnects you to your body, supports long-term healing, and reveals the natural radiance that was always there.
Because your face doesn’t age in isolation.
Facial aging is often a reflection of what’s happening below the surface—throughout your entire body. Poor posture, shallow breathing, and tight fascia create downward tension that pulls on facial tissues, contributing to sagging skin, deepening lines, and puffiness.
Block Therapy works by releasing adhesions in the fascia and restoring alignment, especially in the core and ribcage. This not only lifts and rebalances the body’s structure, but also improves blood flow, microcirculation, and lymphatic drainage to the face and scalp—delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the skin.
When the body is open and aligned, the face reflects it with a healthier tone, smoother texture, and more radiant glow. So even if your concern is just facial aging, treating the whole system creates results that are deeper, more natural, and longer lasting.
Block Therapy is done fully clothed, either on a yoga mat or a massage table. Using a specially designed wooden block, you’ll be guided through a series of positions that target specific areas of the body—hips, ribs, abdomen, jaw, neck, and more.
Each position is held for several minutes while you use diaphragmatic breathing to soften into the tissue. Over time, the body begins to unwind, space is restored, and you start to feel lighter, taller, and more connected.
During a sesison, you may feel:
This is your time to drop in, breathe deeply, and support your body’s natural healing intelligence.
At the heart of Block Therapy is the Block itself—a handcrafted wooden tool designed to mimic the density and structure of human bone.
Why bone? Because fascia responds best to pressure that feels natural and familiar. Unlike foam rollers or massage balls—which may feel too soft or too aggressive—the block’s density allows your tissue to soften, melt, and release gently and deeply.
When you lie on the block and use your own body weight and breath, it works with gravity to:
The block doesn’t stretch or force the tissue. Instead, it creates a safe, still environment where your body can unwind layer by layer, from the inside out.
If you're just beginning or trying the sample program, you’re absolutely welcome to start with a rolled-up towel or yoga mat.
While these substitutes won’t provide the same depth as the wooden block, they will still give you a feel for the technique, breathwork, and the deep stillness that defines this practice.
When you’re ready to go deeper, transitioning to the wooden block offers a more profound and lasting experience.

Why Try Block Therapy in a Group Setting?
There’s something special about doing Block Therapy together. While one-on-one sessions allow for focused attention, group classes offer a unique kind of energy, connection, and inspiration. Sharing the experience with others creates a supportive space where you can not only deepen your own practice—but also learn from the stories and progress of others.
In group settings, people often open up about how Block Therapy has relieved years of pain, improved their posture, and even softened visible signs of aging. It’s empowering to witness those changes—and to realize what’s possible in your own body. You’ll pick up tips, hear breakthroughs, and maybe even make a few new friends who are also on a journey to move, feel, and look better.
And yes—it’s fun! There’s laughter, deep sighs of release, and a shared understanding that we’re all unwinding patterns that have been building for years. Whether you're brand new or experienced with the block, group classes bring an uplifting momentum that makes the work feel less like therapy... and more like transformation.
While traditional creams and serums work only on the surface, the Block Therapy Face Paddle goes much deeper—targeting adhesions within the facial fascia that topical products simply can’t reach. These adhesions naturally form over time and can pull on the skin, leading to fine lines, sagging jowls, and subtle shifts in facial shape.
When clients work with me, they have the option to purchase a Face Paddle and begin a simple at-home routine to support the changes we make in session. It’s an empowering way to take your results even further between treatments. Face Paddles are available in the clinic or online for easy access.
